what is the best hostel or guesthouse to stay at in Bangkok if travelling alone and hoping to meet people?
I am going travelling on my own at the end of this year from London to Bangkok and I will be in Bangkok for a few days. I am hoping there i will meet people who I could maybe hang out with and go onto other places with. Do you think I will be ok going travelling alone and which places are best to stay to meet other travellers?
Head straight to the Khao San Rd. area, that’s where most of the young travelers and backpackers stay when in Bangkok. I’m sure you’ll be able to find many like-minded people there who are looking for someone to travel to other parts of Thailand and Asia as well as find people who can share experiences about places to go. You’ll be fine traveling alone and probably won’t be alone for long. Have fun.
