www.phuketdining.com http patongdining.com http Southern End Patong Beach Phuket Thailand Patong Beach is probably the most popular beach in Phuket as you can see in the video, lots of beach chairs, vendors parasailing and jet skis. Parasailing is fun but it is a little bit pricey, during low season a 3 minute ride will run you (1000 Baht), high season can run from 1500 — 2000 Baht. Jet Ski rental is very popular and also pricey at Patong Beach; just be cautious on who you rent from, having insurance is always a wise choice. Beach chairs rental can cost up to 200 Baht, best bet is just bring a large beach towel. Over the years I really have not seen must different between the seasons, each and every day the beach is very crowded and congested. www.phuketdining.com http patongdining.com http Quiet Day Nai Thon Beach Phuket Thailand Beautiful Nai Thon beach is one of Phukets northern most beaches, if I had to pick a sleepy quite beach Nai Thon beach would be my choice, I have been up to Nai Thon on several occasions and the beach is never crowded, in fact the beach is so peaceful you hardly run into any tourists. The major resort at this beach is the Naithonburi Beach Resort; even with this resort you don’t get that much traffic. Nai ThonBeach is very close to the airport about 10 -15 minutes, the road leading into the beach is in good shape, if you want major nightlife, you wont find it here, Patong beach the major nightlife hub is about a 45 minute drive from this location. I love to come up to Nai Thon for one of my distance swims and occasionally I will swim around the point over to Nai Yang beach; Nai Yang beach is on about 5- 7 minutes away, please check my video tour for that beautiful beach. One of the best features of this beautiful Phuket beach is how wide open it is and no matter whether its high or low season you will never feel crowded.During the monsoon season the surf can get pretty rough, along with the currents so be careful during these periods. If you like to walk the beach Karon beach is one of the best locations; one of the best times to go is during sunrise and sunset, so don’t forget your camera. Beach Recon 2010 Laem Singh Beach Phuket Thailand Note: Over the years I have seen the spelling of this beach as either (Laem Singh? or Leam Singh?), for now I will go with (Laem Singh) I guess it really depends upon who is making the sign at the time. Laem Singh Beach Phuket is one of Phuket Thailand’s most beautiful beaches, you can find this beach just north of Kamala beach. If you get a chance please go visit this beach, it really is beautiful. One thing I must mention, this is not a beach you can just drive up to and stroll to the beach, there is a small parking lot on the top of the hill that leads down to it (Parking Fee – 40 Baht car / 20 Baht motorbike) as of July 2010. The path that leads to the beach is in pretty good shape (I have a video of this) will take you about 5 minutes to get down. Once you are down you will soon realize it was well worth it. The beach is clean, very pretty so bring the camera for photo’s and video.
