Ko Lipe is still a secret gem of the Thai Islands, one of just a few paradise islands left – there is no masstourism (yet), no skyhigh hotels of steel and concrete, even no pier for arrivals – you have to get wet feet jumping off a longtail boat when landing on the beach. Instead you have bamboo huts right on the beach or spread over the island with white sandy beaches and crystal clear water.

The wonders of this magnificiant place need to be seen in person in order to properly grasp its true beauty. A little slice of heaven, Khanom, has yet to be discovered by most foreign tourists. This unspoiled tropical paradise has over eight miles of pristine tranquil beaches which stretch out alongside the northern mountains of Nakorn Si Thammarat province. Although tourism is significant in Khanom, most visitors are Thai nationals as foreigners have not yet discovered Khanom.
